what follows is my statement for this body of work:
floaty getting sinky at Mo!Relax
Do you ever feel like shit? Of course you do. It is part of life.
你曾經覺得爛透了嗎？當然有。生活就是如此。
I don't think of myself as a miserable person, but I have hit a rough patch with my health, my doctors, and some of my friendships.
我不認為自己是個悲慘的人，但是我在健康、就醫還有友誼的方面都歷經過低潮。
These paintings are part of my effort at purging the negative emotions that accompanied these experiences. I have also taken the opportunity to poke fun at my reactions.
這些經驗會引發負面情緒，而這些畫作就是我為了淨化這些情緒所做的努力。我也藉這個機會拿我的反應來開玩笑。
I'm not one to dump my troubles on others, but I am a painter who endeavors to create as honestly as possible. Therefore, it is with mixed feelings that I present these to you. If anything, I've set the stage for a future show detailing how wonderful I feel.
我不是個會把煩惱告訴別人的人，但是我盡我可能誠實去作畫。因此，我抱著複雜的情緒把這些作品呈現給你。若還有任何伏筆，那就是這次展覽預告了我未來會推出記錄我美好感受的作品。
I think there is always something to learn from a person speaking their truth. So, here's a bit of mine.
我覺得說實話的人總是可以教我們一點什麼。因此，以下就是我的一點點實話。
